derek-falvey

According to sources, Cleveland Indians assistant GM Derek Falvey has emerged as a strong candidate for the Minnesota Twins president job.

The Twins relieved former GM Terry Ryan of his duties in mid-July and have been looking for a replacement. According to Ken Rosenthal, the team will hire a president of baseball operations, who will then hire a GM amongst other front office positions.

Falvey, the top candidate, has been with the Indians organization for eight years. He was the director of baseball operations for four years, until he was recently promoted to assistant GM.
